Als ein kleines weißes Kind in einer Kiste gefunden wird, glaubt man an die Erfüllung der Prophezeiung und nimmt ihn in der Schule auf. Obwohl sich die Lehrer alle Mühe geben, entwickelt sich Haru zu einem tollpatschigen, adipösen Ninja, dem nichts gelingen mag, bis die schöne Allison Page in das Leben der Kampfwurst tritt. Denn ihr Auftrag fördert in Haru Fähigkeiten zu Tage, die man bislang nicht an ihm gesehen hat. Der korpulente Ninja soll Allisons Freund Martin überprüfen, da sie einen schrecklichen Verdacht hegt. Dabei gerät Haru in ein turbulentes Abenteuer hinein, dass ihn schließlich bis nach Beverly Hills bringt, wo er Allison zur Seite stehen muss.
